So my best friend and I are in our mid 20's and are single and really just needed a vacation from NYC life. we know Aruba is more of a family and couples destination but it was too beautifull a place not to go. can anyone lend some insight as to some reccomendations for two single guys in aruba looking to just have fun and relax. thanks for any suggestions!!!

welcome to the forum
http://www.aruba.com/ThingstoDo/activities.aspx click above link for some ideas. aside from drinking and partying there are tons of other things pls tell us where you are staying. in no particular order.......beaches, pools, snorkel from the shore or snorkel from a boat tour, sunset sails, tatoo party boat evening/nights, depalm island snorkel and full day activity there including lunch, jeep tours, windsurfing lessons, kitesailing lessons, sky diving, scuba resort course or full course. great dining experiences...check out the culinary section. casinos, nightclubbing, fishing, horseback riding. reminder....do NOT over schedule yourself for your first trip to aruba. leave plenty of beach time. save some activities for your 2nd, 3rd trip. my husband and i have been there lots and now all we do is lounge pool or beach, swim, eat and make donations to the casinos.

Besides the beach, pool, casinos, restaurants, etc., I would say the most "fun" activities are Tattoo Party Boat, Kuku Kunuku party bus and Jolly Pirates snorkel tour. Of the 3, jolly pirates was my favorite and Kuku Kunuku comes in second. I started going to Aruba 12 years ago (in my 20s) and experienced all 3. 12 years later, we still do Jolly Pirates every now and again. They put on a great show, you listen to great music, great snorkeling, fun rope swing, free drinks and lunch (what more can you ask for)
