I would have to say for me, the best steak on the Island would be at Ruth Chris up at the Marriott. That's just my vote. They have a rib eye bone in that's awesome!!! Also the regular rib eye rocks. I am sure you will get some more input.

I have always gotten excellent steaks at El Gaucho. The ribeye is my favorite but the porterhouse is also excellent. As far as the best steaks in Aruba, I cant say. I like Madam Janettes and Matthews. I have not eaten at Ruths Chris in Aruba for 2 reasons, I can do that here and I have never been a fan of their food. L G Smiths just doesn't feel like your in Aruba to me. More like New York City. You know your in Aruba when you go to the first 3. This is just my opinion and everyone has their own. You can try them for yourself and I doubt you will be disappointed in any of them. It is difficult to get a bad meal on the island.
I so agree with you that LG Smiths doesn't feel like Aruba. We ended up there because our other plans didn't work out and I had asked the taxi driver to drop us off at the Crystal Casino So we could find a restaurant around there. While the atmosphere wasn't what I was looking for, the steak was delicious and the Dutch apple pie was phenomenal.
