Three girlfriends and I will be traveling to Aruba in a little over a week to celebrate my 40th bday! I've been to Aruba twice, but it has been over 4 years since I last visited. The other three have never been and I am hoping they fall in love with the island just as I have. We will be in Aruba for 4 days and are jam packed with excursions and dinner reservations. We are staying at the Marriott/Stellaris Casino and one evening we are eating out at MJs. Does anyone know if traveling by taxi to MJs is the best/only option? Also, I've been chatting with a lovely rep who works for Mi Duschi and I'd love to bring her a little token...anyone have a good idea of a cute/reasonable gift for her coming from the USA? Thanks for any feedback you have to give!

We arrive in 9 days! We have reservations at MJs and MiDushi also so we may see you guys!! Have a blast! This is our first trip to Aruba so I too am curious about taxi to MJs.

A cab from the Radisson to Madame Jeanette's was $11.00 this past Sunday. We also did the MiDushi, for the second time, and had a great time. Have fun!

MJ's is down its own little road (but not far from the high rises). Nonetheless, there is no actual bus that would take you there, so you will have to cab it. The Marriot will cost a buck or two more than what the previous person quoted from the Radisson.

For a little token gift from the states, go with a Red Sox baseball cap. There are so many Bostonians here that locals like wearing them, as it starts conversations immediately.
