Any suggestions of activies and restuarants etc?
We are staying near Eagle Beach. I know nothing about the island!

where are you staying?

a few restaurant suggestions:
NOT TO BE MISSED RESTAURANTS (IMO)
Madam Janette
Wacky Wahoo
Passions on the Beach
all 3 of these are great dining experiences madam janette is sort of pricy but well worth it. all casual dress.

We are staying at the Amerstdam Manor Beach. It is not all inclusive so we need to find some nice spots to eat.

Also wondering what activites to fill our days with.
Thanks!

Don't do too much.... sometimes first time visitors forget to sit back and relax! I got in trouble with that on our honeymoon to Hawaii a few years back. I booked activities for almost every day and forgot to schedule in "leisure time". My new wife wanted to strangle me!

Don't miss Madame Janettes - best food on the Island in my opinion.

Rent a jeep and check out the island on your own.

Take an afternoon snorkeling/party trip on the Jolly Roger.

Happy Hour at Moomba Beach Bar!

Welcome.Here are a few suggestions:

El Gaucho's restaurant.(dinner)

Salt and peppers(lunch)

Rent a jeep and go to the baby beach for some snorkeling.

Jolly pirates sunset booze cruise/rope swing.

There are tons to do.You won't get it all done in one trip and trust me ....you'll be back.

I agree with SHNYDA - sit back and relax a little you'll have time to do things and I'm sure after your first visit you will be back!! We will be there at the same time, see you at Moomba's for Happy Hour

depending on your music taste.........if it is R & B and smooth jazz I would highly recommend the 10th Annual Soul Beach Music Festival
http://soulbeach.net

Sinbad (the entertainer is owner of the promo company). Anyway, even if you don't make the "concerts" they utilize beach bars (especially Moomba's), and the DJ's are outstanding.
Another tip that is popular - assuming you are staying at a timeshare or have the desire to cook - be sure to pick up some fresh seafood alongside the pier (Marriott Surf Club) from the local fisherman. It is very reasonable.

That's my 2 cents.
Save us some fun because we arrive on 5/29
