Happy New Year to all the Aruba.com members and readers. I have been visiting this site for a couple of years now and figure what a better way to start the new year by joining in the fun.

My husband and I have been to Aruba 9 times, just recently returned from 10 days in November. We love staying at Divi Divi All Inclusive the people could not be friendlier and since we usually arrive on Thanksgiving we get to know quite a few. I even met one member this year (Hello Pegmeister) if you are reading this

Hope everyone has a safe and happy New Years and happy countdowns to all our next Aruba trips

Hi DDFan. We are also from Western Mass (only those from Western Mass understand why it's important to specify "Western"). Everyone assumes someone from Massachusetts must live near Boston. Anyway, my husband and I are headed to the Tamarjin for our first stay in Aruba on Feb 5th. Can't wait to meet all the smiling, happy people on that beautiful island!

Hi Irish - nice to meet ya! Have a wonderful time in Aruba I wish I could be there with you but will be in spirit....have a cocktail or two for me. By the way I too am Irish....make sure you make your way down to Divi as well.

Hi Purple Angel - nice to hear from a CT person not far from me.

True most New Englander's we have met are from Boston and have met a lot of people from NJ and NY all of whom are wonderful and if you are lucky enough to go the same time every year lots of times get to meet them again and they always remember you.
