I started making a blog about a year ago, but honestly, I cruise quite often and it's hard enough to keep up with the reviews I do on there and between work, family and schooling...it's been a struggle to even get it half finished so that I can publish it for others to view.

I probably won't be able to do any reviews on here then because of all the restrictions. Am I able to post a link to the cruise forum for those that may be interested in reading the full story and pictures instead of on here? On are posting links to other forums prohibited? (Sorry, not sure of the rules around here).

You should be fine posting a link to another forum for your Aruba trip. Some others have done it in the past.

I'm not sure...this states: Do not post advertising, promotional materials, or any other forms of solicitation on "Aruba.com Community Forum". If you can answer a specific question by mentioning your business or website, or posting a URL that’s fine, but just posting your URL or any URL’s not acceptable. Again this is not the area to post a link, encourage visitors to your website, or advertise your products.

Although I'm not encouraging people to "my" website or a product, it would be a link to another website for my info. So, I'm still not sure.

What about posting a link to it in my signature line? Would that work? That's pretty much how I do it over on the cruise forum. That way anyone looking for certain info can find it in the link.

    yes that would work.

going back to where i suggested that you should make your "My Aruba Story" onto a word document..............i made mention of it because sometimes when folks are making a long posting, the site times out and your typing/posting may be lost.

of the folks that post their aruba stories.......many post it in daily blog format and many do a wrap up summary once their trip is over.
a very few do post their aruba story on another site and guide us their by posting a link.

absolutely, you can post the link to your site and to your aruba story in your signature line.

Thanks so much Andrea. I will post a link.

I did find out early on that sometimes when posting the site would log me out. I have learned to copy and paste before hitting the post button. It may fool me once, but it won't get me again after that. hehe
