My wife and i have been wanting to take a trip to the Caribbean for a while now but keep putting it off or going elsewhere. This year we have finally decided we are going to Aruba!

Now the planning and waiting game! Wife has off 11 days in October, so thats when we are going to be going. This site has been awesome in learning more and researching all the different view points and suggestions.

Glad to be a member, and i have a feeling we will become huge fans of the island. I havent even been there yet, and i am already a big fan!

October is a great time! It is a little slower down there - so not as much traffic or crowds. You can get into most restaurants without a reservation. You will have a blast. Welcome to the forum!

That's great to hear! i was sort of hoping that. My wife was able to get the time off then, so we decided to use it wisely this year.

Welcome, Great choice of island, you will not regret it as a matter of fact I will bet at some point probably on the airplane home you will be making plans for your next trip back. At that point you will be an Arubaholic like the rest of us and the only cure is going back.
