HoneyMoon 11/13-11/20/2010

Hi,
My Fiance and I will be honeymooning in Aruba for the First time in Nov 2010
and we are staying at the Raddison Aruba Resort, Casino and Spa.
Were very excited but I was wondering if we could get some advice to the types of restaurants and shops near by ? Also should we buy the meal plan or eat on the island ? From reading the message boards it seems that the Island has sooo much to offer, I just dont want to break the bank on food !
I can do a couple of nice meals, with a few Dunkin, Pizza type meals thrown in.
Also if anyone can offer any advice to a few ideas for what to do, as we will only be there a week, but we want to relax as well ( were not water sport enthuisasts )
Thanks in advance !!

Jamie

Just read about Remodeling at Hotel

ArubaLisa.....
Should I be concerned about the renovations that the Hotel is making starting in June ? I mean we are going in November but no one wants to hear Construction, banging, etc... on their Honeymoon. Can you suggest a nice backup Hotel in case ?

Look into the 'one cool honeymoon' option that some Aruba hotels participate in, usually includes a bottle of champagne, a gift and some other things, I think even a special do not disturb sign, LOL....I wish my wife and I knew of it sooner, we honeymooned in Aruba and never took advantage of that type of pampering ...you can find it from the homepage by clicking on honeymoons, under specialized vacations...all the info you need when you scroll down a bit...good luck and congratulations
