Well, how happy this site has made me! Visited Aruba for the first time this year, it's the first time i've every been in love i swear!!! Arrived back into England on the 10th October, and after telling everyone who would listen about the island i suddenly got very depressed. Aruba is like a drug and i need my fix!!!LOL ! I am well travelled and have never pined to go back to somewhere so quickly in all my life. Anyway just wanted to introduce myself, it's so good to read all your posts and know i'm not alone in this world with what all my friends are calling an obsession!!!! Looking forward to returning a.s.ap. hopefully dec of this year!! Anyway going to cut this now so i can try and book my next vacation. x

I'll be going on my 11th visit in Jan. Your're not alone when you said you felt depressed when you got home. Happens everytime we go.
People ask why I don't travel to other islands, there's no need. You can try and explain the feeling to someone who hasn't been there but they just don't understand what paradise is really like.! I've talked to many people on the island who have traveled the world and most of them keep coming back to Aruba, because it's such an inviting place to go to. ARUBA......HOME AWAY FROM HOME!

i agree..my wife and i have been to almost every caribbean island and aruba by far is the nicest, friendliest one of them all..that's why we keep going back, ten times now..people ask the same thing why don't you go somewhere else and i tell them that when you've found paradise there's no need to go anywhere else..i also tell them try aruba and you'll see why we keep going back..when they get back without fail they come up to me and say now i know why you keep going back to aruba..

We just returned from Aruba Oct. 24 & have another trip scheduled for Dec. 29 for 8 weeks. Decided to "sneak" in another trip at the end of this month for 3 weeks.
