Jewelry Stores

Hi Everyone! I am new to this site and am soooo happy that I found it! My Husband & I are celebrating our 15th Wedding Anniversary in Aruba Oct. '08. I am looking to purchase an Anniversary band. Any tips, suggestions, etc? Any help would be great, thanks.

Welcome to the forum.

I replied to you in the other thread, but in case you do not see it,
my Dad bought my Mom a pink diamond for Christmas at Gold Palace Jewelers. http://www.arubaonline.com/goldpalace.htm

Hi Roxy,

Three places to consider for a start;

1. Jewels in Paradise - Renaissance Marketplace

2. Colombian Emeralds - L.G. Smith Blvd

3. Little Switzerland - L.G. Smith Blvd.

If I can think of others, I'll pass them along.

Best Jewelry store on the Island

It has been a few years since I have been, but there is one jeweler myself and my family have been too everytime we go. Mom has been visiting this store since the 90's. The best customer service and best deals you will find. Its called Shivas gold and gems, I am a tanzanite collector and always find some of the rarest and best quality gems at this store. It is located downtown Oranjestad in the mall. With any jewelry store don't take their first offer though, they will come down you will find this anywhere, so don't be too eager when buying. I always go on my first or second day browse and get some prices and go back one and maybe two more times before buying. I've got them to come down almost half. I have worked in sales for almost 9 years I know the game. Customer Service is amazing though inviting and takes care of his customers, my grandfather had a ring he purchased there awhile back and then returned couple years later the stone had chipped they replaced the whole ring, with out a receipt he was able to recognize his own jewelry and remembers his customers. My mom goes to aruba every few years and he knows her by name. Thats great customer service. Good luck shopping!!! Happy anniversary, have fun I am going in less than 4 weeks!!! My first stop will be at Shivas!!!

Second Kay jewelers. 2 friends of ours including my wife and myself have dinner with him every year. Actually he lets us store some stuff in his place so we don't have to bring it every year. Coolers, rafts, etc. Tell him that Mark, Doreen, Barbara, and Diane sent ya! We'll be in Aruba Oct 17-24th.

My husband and I go to Aruba EVERY YEAR... We LOVE to shop at Jewels in Paradise... the owners Dinesh and Anju [husband & wife] are wonderful people who will make you great deals on extraordinary pieces of jewelry... last year hubby bought me a 1 of a kind, 15ct diamond bracelet, a yellow diamond ring and a black and yellow diamond band.... plus a couple rings for my daughters... I will be back October 9th and can't wait to see what he has for me this year !!

Look into Diamante's and Noble Jewelers. I have done business with Nash for a number of years and have always found him to be honest and at Diamante's ask for Juggie. He's a great guy to do business with. We'll see them both in November.
