Been a long time fan of the board for a couple of years now and thought I would give you a quick history. First trip was in 1994 at La Cabana with the family before they started to head to College in a few months. We enjoyed it so much, I changed our flights (only $25 p.p. back then) and extended our stay a few more days. Next trip was in 2000 at the old Allegro with 15 “we don’t need no stinkin’ maps” Land Surveyors from NJ and spouses. Highlight of that trip was three wheeling in a 4x4 finding the Natural Pool and finding our way out via a horse trail (sorry Andrea). Been back every year since 2002 at the Radisson and always in August. It’s hot up here and it’s hot but enjoyable in Aruba.

Past few years the trip has been with family, last year was my thirtieth anniversary of my thirtieth birthday, so we had a bunch of extended family also. Just some other info—DW is an RN, son and DIL are teachers in PA and daughter lives in the North End (Boston people should know where this is) and works in the Theater District.
I’ll try and post a picture from 2008 and see if anybody thinks my SIL (she’s seated, DW standing) resembles anybody on Board.

Will be there this year from Aug 10th through 19th and just want to worry about “do I have to turn over” and “what color umbrella do I want in my frozen concoction if I’m not doing a Bright”
