Hello fellow Aruba lovers. I am new to this site ... so here is my first post.
I am not much of an online chat person and hesitated to do this but here it goes...
I am coming to Aruba for my third trip, in March 2008. I truly love the island. It is one of my favorites in all the Caribbean! I have a passion for travel, unfortunately most of the time I travel alone. I thought this forum might be a nice way to meet people to hang out with while I am enjoying my island Holiday.
I am a sun loving beach bum by day, however the dinner hour and evenings can be a drag when traveling alone. If anyone out there, either Aruba local or fellow vacationer would like to meet and possibly hang out with a single, 30 something island loving Architect, email me. It would be fun to have some company

Hey Islandboy, this is also my first time on this site so I wanted to introduce myself. This April will be my 6th trip to Aruba. My mom and I go every year. We just LOVE it!!! I am a single 30 something vacationer and even though we are not going to be there at the same time I figured I email you anyways since we have so much in common

Where are you from? Hope to hear back soon.

Hello Island Boy. Welcome to this site! I will be making my 9th trip to Aruba Feb. 10-18 and will be celebrating my birthday on the 15th. I, too, am a single lonely traveler, but I have found that to be a plus sometimes, as people seem to go out of their way to make sure that everything is going well for you during your stay (plus, being female, I get xtra special attention from the bartenders too!! LOL). My friend from Boston cancelled out on this trip last week, so I am really bummed out about it, but I have a sneaky suspicion that a couple of my relatives from here in the states are going to surprise me (just a woman's intuition, I guess). I have made quite a few friends down there and try to look them up while I'm there, but I, too, am a beach bum by day and an "explorer" by night. I am planning to go down again in the summer, but just don't know when yet. Maybe one day our schedules will hook up. However, I find a trip by myself, my toes in the sand and a drink in my hand, island music playing, with the friendliest locals around to be the best vacation yet! Enjoy your trip.

Hi debbie,

I am going there in February too. Well in one day to be exact (feburary 12-15)... If you are there , and would like to go sit at the beach bar for a couple of drinks and catch a tan, then explore at night. I would love to meet up with you. Give me a holler while you are in aruba. Or tell me where you will be staying, and we can meet up. Most of the time, I will be at the hyatt sleeping on the beach..

if anyone else would like to meet me anytime that they are down in the caribbean, let me know. And sorry, I don't meet everyone that ask me to. I prefer someone a little bit mature in ages, and a female. I like to have nice conversations... and enjoy my stay in aruba. I come here often... so don't hesitate to let me know a day.

My wife and I have a timeshare week 17 at the renaissance ocean suites which is the end of april. If you ever are in aruba at that time let us know. Enjoy your vacation.

I will be making my 6th trip to Aruba December 29th - January 19th. I am 35 and single. I take a personal caregiver with me to assist me during my vacation, but essentially I spend my time alone while in Aruba. I am in a power wheelchair due to having Becker's Muscular Dystrophy. Surely does not limit my life or make me sad as I chose to embrace life and enjoy it. Well I have made many friends in Aruba and make more each time I visit. Mostly repeat visitors. So if anyone goes to Aruba when I go let me know!
