New to this form

Hello,

We have been to Aruba for the first time last March and we are looking to go back again in the near future. One week wasn't long enough. Other than the High rise hotel/resort we would like to find other palaces to stay.

WELCOME ABOARD!
You will find a wealth of information here and great people to discuss Aruba with! I wish I could help, but all my trips have been to the Marriotts.

Have Fun, Pete

Welcome to the forums. Glad you're looking to expand you time and location on the island. Plenty of good info here. Do a search and ask for what you can not find or are curious about. Enjoy!

There's a wealth of info on the forum so just ask away, that's after a search of course.

You should be able to find a wealth of information on this forum as well as the website itself. I have only stayed at Divi Village (where I own a couple of weeks) and Aruba Beach Club (behind Alhambra Casino). Both are great, I prefer the low rise end because it is not quite as crowded. However, on that note, since Divi has completed yet another new set of timeshare units it is becoming quite crowded on the low end too..........But since we are in Aruba I don't seem to mind crowds as much as when in the states !!!
Anyway, check things out....you may even be able to rent a week from one of the forum members, they are always offering!!!

If you are looking for a place that may be better than hotels, try renting a home or a condo. in some cases it is more reasonable than a hotel, you may not want to eat out ever night or you my want to sit by the pool, with out all of the noise that you get at the hotel pool. Most places that you rent have a pool just outside the back door. By the way the drinks are more reasonable when you buy them at a store and serve them to your selves.
Wecome and good luck

After staying along Palm Beach our first 15 visits, visits 16 & 17 have been to the Tamarijn.

You cannot beat having a room where you step from your room directly out onto the beach. No elevators, no long walks and no gardenviews or views of the parking lot. Every room has a perfect view.
