When I was stationed in Panama, there were many chickens roaming about. We called them "Road Pollo", however, they always seemed to be street wise and got out of the way of oncoming traffic. Never saw an excess of droppings on the ground wherever I went. Now in Jamacia once I saw a cow happily grazing in the parking lot of a Wendys and saw it leaving road apples behind. Now stepping in that would ruin lunch!
Costa Linda, Renaissance Ocean Suites, any place where there is a beach and tiki hut I am good 8)
I have been to Aruba 3 years in a row and not once have I ever seen a chicken anywhere. I think you will be pleasantly surprised when you get to Aruba and find that it is very clean and welcoming. Everything is very well maintained and the island prides itself on being welcoming for tourists at all times. One thing I will tell you is that you will catch the Aruba bug I am afraid, and you will be looking forward to your next trip before you even leave! 8-)
