Welcome to the forum..... I can't imagine it taking 3 hours to get outside once landed. I think the most it's ever been for us is a shade over an hour (felt like 3 hours) from touchdown to exiting the terminal.

The longest it ever took us to get thru on arrival was about 45 minutes and I thought I might lose my mind, lol. Most trips its less than 10 minutes.

I do and yes they take it. I think last year 5 planes all arrived about the same time. We were in a long line upstairs before getting to the lines downstairs.

Hi Pam, welcome to the forum.
I am with Andrea, never waited more than an hour clearing through customs AND getting luggage. The new online immigrations form that Andrea mentioned is great, you fill it out at home and then do not have to go through the nonsense of filling it out on the plane. Now on the return it is a very good idea to plan on 3 hours to get through to the gate...sometimes it takes close to that and sometimes you buzz right through.

I thought I read somewhere that there were less flights from Venezuela now??? When I was in line with them they were not very polite.

Thanks everyone, I've been watching the arrivals at AUA. There are 6 planes landing within 1/2 hour before our flight. Assuming 200 passengers per plane, we will be waiting again this year. The good news is we will be in Aruba so we will just have patience.
