    Newbie

    Hi all,

My name is Marco and I am an Italian living in Barcelona (Spain).
I've recently been offered a job in Aruba and looking for information about the island found this fantastic forum.

Let's see if I can gather some useful info and make up my mind!!

    Thanks,

    MdiMatteo

Ciao Marco Aruba e bellissima e benvenuti na nostra isola.
You will find many wonderful people and there are also many italians. Dont worry there is an italian bakery who makes the muffeletti and delicious breads including cannoli shells.
What job have you been offered? Would love to know.
You will enjoy your island away and Aruba will have lots to offer.
    Welcome to the forum...

Thank you all for the warm welcome......especially Angela, you just made my day!

By the way Angela, the job is still to be accepted so I prefer not to disclose anything yet, but if (when) I finally sign for it I'll let you know right away.

What I'm still trying to figure out is the cost of living, and if the salary I've been offered would be enough to have a comfortable (not luxurious but not too tight either) life there.

But I guess I should ask that somewhere else, shouldn't I?
