Also check with you bank as to your personal liability for your debit card. They are not always the same as the 'traditional" $50 on a credit card.

If you are going to use ANY bank cards call their customer service before you leave and let them know you'll be in Aruba. If you don't they may very well not let the transaction go through. How many times have I seen a befuddled tourist at Ling's insisting that his card was indeed good! Then they have to go to customer service and call the bank, etc. etc.
