what most of the more experienced aruba travelers will tell you is to not to plan too much.

if you are a beach fan, there will be nothing better than for you to be beachslugs and then enjoy some great dining options and then make some donations at the casino.

there are some "must sees" if you can tear yourself away from the beach.
  • natural bridge remains
  • alto vista chapel
  • california lighthouse
these 3 things can be done in less than 2 hrs.
i advise you sign up with one of the "island tours" that include those 3 sites and more.

other things
  • snorkel tours with Tranquillo, Octopus or Jolly Pirate. Jolly Pirate is ther most lively of the tours, but Tranquillo and Octopus offer less folks/commercialization but still fun! Families and young adults rave about Jolly Pirates.
  • spas some/most of the resorts offer day spa services.
  • watersports you name it they have it (no surfing though)
  • wind sailing kite boarding
  • road trip on your own (you will need a rental car)
  • day of snorkel at baby beach
there is so much stuff to do.............many others will hopefully chime in.

do not overplan
save some stuff for your 2nd, 3rd, 4th.....visits

Im in agreement with Andrea... Most first timers have a tendency to overplan and absorbing way too much time. I have some friends that made that mistake recently and came home exhausted!
Make sure you save time for beach and exploring the island!

Day 1: Eat breakfast, change in to your bathingsuit, grab some sun block, get a towel and beach chair, make sure to have a steady stream of Balashi served to you, get up and take a dip to cool off a little here and there, eat lunch, back to lounge chair, make sure the Balashi's are still coming, go back to room around 5:00, shower, go to dinner, have a night cap, fool around, go to sleep.

Days 2 through whenever: Refer to steps in Day 1!

Welcome aboard!

LMAO

Dont forget to insert naps in between each step to re-energize! Lifting Balashi's is hard work!

True, I couldn't agree more. It's a rough life but someone has to do it!

Enjoy your trip. Another great thing to enjoy is the pathway between the beach and the Hotels. It is a great leisurely walk early in the am or after the beach. Go with the flow and enjoy yourselves
