Talking Newbie from the US
Hello everyone!

I am moving with my husband to Aruba at the end of the month. He will be a professor at a school in Aruba.

We have never been to Aruba, but we hear it is a wonderful place.

I am so excited!

We are renting in Wayaca residences...near the international school

i am unfamiliar with that area.
i have friends that live in the Wayaca neighborhood.......down sort of across from the airport.
I wonder if the Wayaca and the Wajaca are the same?

If so, great neigborhood.

2 of our members are there.

Sugar and Cheryl.

if it turns out that you are in there......i will put you or them in touch. they are very very active with the animal rescue (primarily dogs) group and are quite busy with the adoptions/rescue/spay and neuter programs.

Spelled it wrong at first It is Wayaca.
That would be great. My husband and I love dogs, and we are bringing our two "babies" with us.

Welcome to Aruba, you might want to join Friends of Aruba when you arrive. There are a lot of Xpats that are members and they can be your welcome wagon.

If you have to work anyway, what better place to do it than in paradise!
