I'm sorry for your loss.
If you've been to Aruba before, you should be comfortable. On my third trip to Aruba, I traveled solo. I stay in the high-rise area, and took walks off the resort during the day and early evening for shopping. I would take nightly walks on the beach after dinner. Just take the usual precautions as you would anywhere else. Good luck!

My condolences on your loss as well.
I think you are probably the only one who can answer your question. It will ultimately depend upon your frame of mind. You did not say whether you are traveling solo or with friends and family. I would imagine traveling with family especially would make this a special vacation. Your dh will always be with you in spirit.
