Hi all,
My husband and I will be celebrating our 25th anniversary in Aruba in October. We're staying at Marriott Ocean Club, and I've read a few threads
saying the water there has a bad odor, and is not very clear. Those were dated a few months ago...does anyone know if it has cleared up? Any info
you can give me would be greatly appreciated!! I've learned alot already from
this forum!!

congrats on your 25th

the water murkiness and bottom has been an issue over the past coupple of yrs and marriott has hired an environmental outfit to do some work on the beach there.

i do know that folks have spoken of the murkiness, the slime on the bottom, seaweed and overall some unpleasant conditions. but, the reports vary.
some say it is wonderful, others complain.

there is a poster here, RANDI from canada who is member of marriott timeshare surf club which is next door to ocean club.
she will be able to give you the lowdown.
