Short trip to Aruba - First time :)

    Hi All
Planning a short trip to Aruba (4-Dec to 8-Dec) on my way to miami from south america. From reading your posts and other research I've tried to come up with an itinerary. Any advice or recommendations are welcome....

Accomodation: looking at apartments studio/ one bed apartments in the palm beach / noord area. Anyone heard of Brisas?
Since I'm travelling solo, thought it'd be easy to do the touristy tours to see most of the sites.
Food I like - ribs, steak, seafood )

    Thur - 4th
Arrival (should be at apartment by lunch). Head downtown have a look around
Dinner at Barney for some thursday ribs

    Fri - 5th
    Discover Aruba Tour (depalm)
    Kunuku Bus

    Sat - 6th
Snorkel tour (depalm) , another trip downtown. I see other snorkel tours mentioned, which do you guys recommend?
    wacky wahoo

    Sun - 7th
Rent a car (tropic?), which I would used to drive to the airport the next day as well.
    National Arch museum
If I can find that bar b que place lady face in paradera (wherever that is) that Dan mentioned that'd be awesome
Always wanted to try parasailing, see if I can make it to the beach to try that.
Casa Tua (arawak garden) for pizza

    Mon - 8th
    Depart, flight leaves @ 11am

    A few things...
one trip downtown is good. There's not that much to see to spend all that time there

beach time?? You must get to a beach. Walk the high rise beach and see that area

snorkel boat Palm a Pleasure is nice, 100 ft catamaran. Stops at 2 sites, equip provided. Others include Jolly Pirate. After your cruise stay down that area and take in sites.

if I think of more I will post it

    enjoy!

    Hi! Welcome to the forum!

Wow talk about a jam-packed few days! I agree with the ladies above - you need to find some beach time!

Jolly Pirates is a fun snorkel tour with a rope swing!

I can't wait to hear about everything you get to do in your time on the island!

Scratch one of the days downtown and find time to lay on the beach, maybe have lunch at Scott's Brats. I don't know if I'd rent a car for the last day, might be easier to take a cab, maybe Bully is free?

    Thanks for the welcome!
vegetate on the beach - lol
    Arubabob has some fantastic reviews
Don't think I'll try and rent a car anymore. Decided it was too much a risk, to risk any incidental expenses etc. If anything happens in that one day.
    Thank you for the advice.

"beach time?? You must get to a beach." - I noted the urgency in that statement -lol

Jolly pirate seems like a better deal than Palm Pleasure. Have you done any of the two?

    Thanks.
