I traveled to Aruba solo in June (I'm also single). You'll be fine. As someone said, you can do what you want, when you want. Have fun!

Traveling Alone

Ray, I too will be going to Aruba alone in April. And I can't wait!! I won't have to worry if reading my book on the beach is making someone feel left out. I plan on doing everything my ex never wanted to do. Go and just enjoy your time on the island.

Ray, I've travelled all over the world by myself and i'm a late 20's male (But have yet to reach the carribbean until next year) you'll be fine! I've met many nice people travelling alone that i keep in contact with, ok yes mainly couples but i have met other singles as well, Just be friendly, maybe do a few tours, And just think of it as everyone (Even couples) go to these islands knowing noone, so everyone is in the same boat (no pun intended), Just go in with a "have fun" attitude and i'm sure you'll never want to leave!

And look at it this way! By travelling alone YOU decide what you're doing that day, I've done guided tours in the past and it's quite comical when everyone else starts fighting and claims their partner or travel mate is ruining their holiday because they don't want to do this or that, and meanwhile you wont have that problem!

Ray,
I'm a single woman in my late (ugh...did I just admit that?!) 30's. I share a condo with people I know but tend not to "hang out" with them as we have very different interests. I like to go to the casino near the condo where we stay. I love that we go every May and it's usually the same people there at that time of year. I've befriended several couples and other singles who go the same weeks as us. I will be traveling alone Nov. 8-12th, so I'll just miss you. The locals are tremendously friendly as are the other travelers. I love Aruba and go several times a year. No need to bring sand to the beach. I'm single and will travel solo. I hope you enjoyed your trip. It's a fantastic island!!
