Thanks again for all your reports.... I'm pretty sure you'll opt for Aruba for next year!

Well, we are definitely going back for a week for our anniversary. We went to Turks and Caicos this year for Valentine's Day and it was in the 70's. Some rain and a cold front came through. We had a great time though. We usually try some island we have never been to before for the February trip.

I know we can catch a boat over from St. Maarten to Anguilla. That might be an even quieter alternative to St. Maarten. I'll have to do more research on Anguilla. We are all about the warm weather, lying on the beach, and enjoying good food over Valentine's Day. In Turks and Caicos this year, we only the left Parrot Cay one day to visit a friend on Provo for a rum tasting.

For an update on our first trip this year, we did Grand Case in Saint Martin for our February Valentine's Day trip this year. The food there was fabulous, but the beaches were very crowded. I did love the Pain Killers that Calmos Cafe served me on the beach each day. The village is a bit run down on the north end, but we still had a good time. We took a day trip over to Saint Barth. After hearing about Anguilla from several people, I have that high on my list of other Caribbean islands to visit.

But, we are just 6 days away from Anniversary trip #3 to Aruba!

I love the beach (who doesn't?), anywhere that I can snorkel, The Donkey Sanctuary (much to the dismay of my daughter), the lighthouse.

How fun to go back and re-visit last year's trip as I pedal away back here in Philadelphia! Every year I say I will post my trip activities and I rarely get to it. I get so much enjoyment reading other vacationer's reports, this year I VOW to post my report and hope people enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed reading yours!

I look forward to reading about your trip. We had back to Philly on Saturday, but it looks like you will be taking our place soon thereafter. Have fun!

I enjoyed these trip reports. We are also from the suburbs of Philly. We were in St. martin July 9-16th at the Divi Little bay resort. I really liked the resort quite a bit and we were very close to Phillipsburg which is a quirky town. The cruise ships come in and there is lovely boardwalk with many restaurants. We had a car and went into Margot and we did tour he island. I am so sorry we did not go to Anguilla. It is an easy short ride. I hear the beaches there are wonderful!!!! I would check them out one day if you get the chance--happy travels.

We meet lots of folks from Philly and New Jersey here in Aruba. As you can see from our 3rd anniversary trip report, we are having fun down here again this year.
