4/3 - 4/10 - Another great Aruba vacation!

Yes, it was another great trip to my favorite place away from home. This was
the 11th year in a row the entire family went down. Stayed at the Marriott
Ocean Club, usual nice accommodations, spent lots of time at both the beach
and the pool. Never had any problems getting either a palapa on the beach
or chairs by the pool. The kids did the normal things that kids would do (jet
ski, tubing), and we did do the Jolly Pirate snorkeling trip (where I proceeded
to get selected for the drinking activities at the end of the trip, mortifying all
of my kids!). Excellent dinners at Gasparitos, Aqua Grill, Texas de Brazil,
Moombas and Casa Tuas. Each day was bright and sunny, no rain at all,
comfortable trade winds each day. Car rental at Econo Car went smoothly
as usual, and even the Marriott casinos/black jack tables were very friendly
to me on this trip! Tough to leave on Friday, but we stayed on
the beach as long as we could, then made the drive back to the airport
(gambled, got to the airport two hours before our flight, and made it with no
problem, not that busy on Good Friday, was on the late Jet Blue flight to JFK).
Already looking forward to next year, think we may stay at least 10 days, even
with all the kids!

Is there anything more relaxing than arriving in Aruba, walking out of the
airport, and feeling the hot sun, the tropical breezes? If that doesn't relax
you right away, don't know what will.

Thanks for the trip report! Sounds like you had a great time. After reading your report, I'm getting really excited about our trip in July. It will be our ninth and we do stay l0 days. I could stay even longer if we had enough vacation.

Thank for the report Paul, now I am even more sad that I can not be there. I hope 6 months go fast.
