Light breezes...clouds not moving fast but a nice break periodically...and the trash is finally gone! Yay!

Walking around downtown. Brutal heat and a touch hung over. Not a good combination.

    Day 7

Just because we HAVE to, we headed out to Kooyman in the morning to look at ceiling fans (yes, the ceiling fans are becoming a recurring theme). Bingo! And on sale! The bathrooms will be receiving the passing wind in no time. Heh. Also picked up another garbage can so we can at least pretend we're recycling at home even if the island isn't... yet...

As we were futzing around Kooyman, a woman walked up and said, "Were you two on t.v.?" Our first time being spotted! We had a pleasant chat with Cathy who lives in Aruba year-round but is originally from California. Some good tips from her as well.

Then we hit EuroKitchen to look for a garlic press... found an Oxo Good Grips but for 60 AFL. Um, no.

Over to Superfood for some dinner staples at the prepared counter - giant kebabs!

Home, in the pool by 3:00 with our good friend, Miss Pina Colada.

Great dinner but over-indulged a bit on the wine and definitely paying the price today... No balancing ceiling fan blades for this camper. Ugh.

I have been following your Aruba Story and I must say it has been very funny. I also think you must write a book. The stories are all so colorful and makes one smile for sure. I look forward to the rest of the story. Enjoy and have a drink or two for me.

Act, those kebobs at SF are really good.. We ate them several times while on the island..
Got both the chicken and beef... the warm bread with deli meat.. just make yourself a sandwich while shopping
Try this salad dressing jumbo dressing naturel.. . cost like $1.50 us so good for salads, dipping and marinating.
Even brought some home with me. Hid it from DH & DS... lol

Have you visited the FLORA store? (near Price Mart)
It is a magnificent and fun store!

i never got there on our past trip.
I was hoping to purchase a decorative white feathered peacock for our christmas tree.
