Hey There! Thanks for sharing your trip experience with those of us who are not on the One Happy Island at present. The whole backlog of arriving passengers in the airport seems to be a new thing now, what makes even strangers is that it seems to be occurring during the off season. Strange. As for the Air Canada flight attendants and their rude attitude, sounds like they may have hired some former flight attendants from Caribbean Air Lines and LIAT( Leeward Islands Air Transport or more popularly known as Leave Island Any Time).
Sounds like the PriceSmart on Aruba is the same here in T&T, on weekends its crowded that they may need to hire traffic cops to direct the crowds; and on weekday mornings it's like a Ghost Town, you can see for miles and even hear and echo.
Congrats on owning your own home on Aruba. It's a dream of mine for somewhere in the future to live there for half of the year (during hurricane season) while living in T&T for the other half.
Once again thanks for sharing, keep them coming. Enjoy your latest visit.
Back and forth to Price Smart, the notary, quick meals and enforced pool time. It's a good kind of exhausting though. We're in bed by 9:30 pm every night!
All the stores are starting to whip out the Christmas stuff so you can definitely feel it coming.
A couple 'o margaritas by the pool and getting to know the neighbours a bit. Also trying to pin down the answer to, "When is garbage day?!?" Yes, it's Aruba, so the answer isn't as black and white as you'd expect.
Nothing too exciting to report other than we're having a really good time and seeing that sunrise every morning reconfirms we've done the right thing. We still haven't made it downtown to check out the parking situation... we're off to Gostoso's soon so we'll report back on the parking then.
