Almost on our way

So this is the beginning of my Aruba 2011 story

Bags packed, everything under control (I think), leaning back with a glass of red trying to realize that this is actually happening!

Going from Norway to Stockholm, Sweden tomorrow, staying one night there and flying directly to Aruba Monday. 11 h 30 min flight.. But definitely worth it!

Sunset at Bugaloe drinking a Brown Lady in 2 days, now that is AWESOME

Have a blast! Did you pack some clothes pins to keep your towel put in the wind? Bring a coozie to keep your drink cold at the bar? Some bug spray? Only kidding, dont want to get you nervous! Enjoy!

So, I have been home again for a long while now, and not been active on the forum for different reasons.

Wanted to share a couple of things from my trip;

Radisson. Looks wonderful after the renovation. The rooms have brighter colors and new flat screens. The bathrooms are not changed. They have managed to keep the old atmosphere with a more modern feel to it. Very nice!

Check out their $35 Sunday Champagne Brunch, it is an a la carte brunch

New restaurants we tried this time included Papillon. As so many others here on the forum, we absolutely loved it!

De Suikertuin downtown is still our favorite for breakfast/lunch.

Most days were spent relaxing by the pool and having cold drinks in Bugaloe. I don't need much more than that Was happy to see that the old crew from the Equator band are now reunited Had fun with them on live band nights!

Unfortunately I ended up in the E.R. For all of you that are wondering how the hospital in Aruba is, I can assure you that once you get beyond the rather slow registration point, you are in excellent hands. It is safe and clean.

Hope to return some time this year. My soul is still there
