If we return to Aruba in June you have me seriously thinking it needs to include 4th of July.

Glad you enjoyed Passions...your wife had my husband's favorite and you had my favorite. 22 weeks til I have it again?

I try to not be bothered by inexperienced blackjack players at my table. I figure their mistakes will benefit me as often as they hurt me.

Absolutely right.... and like Nikko's son..... they frequently walk away with a win. And..... I never bitch when the 'unskilled play' actually pulls a card that coulda hurt me!

Texas de Brazil last night.... meat B, salad bar A+, atmosphere B+ (bright, fun and noisy) and service D-....!!!! One of the few (only?) times I did not tip beyond service charge. Our waiter did pay lots and lots of attention to the 2 lovely young ladies in the corner... but little for us. Long waits for coffee, check and just checking on us in general. DW loves this place and we'll probably do it again. We forgot to bring a teacher ID for a 20% discount but settled for the 'old guy' 10% discount.

Walked around a bit after dinner, found some contact stuff for my girl and headed back to Amsterdam Manor.... and of course, I went to the Glitz again and I'm just not catching a break. I surrendered around 12:30, stuck my tail between my legs and went to the room.

Dropped our stuff at our favorite palapa by 9 and went over to Islander Grill this morning for a very good breakfast deal.... and there were no flies in the restaurant. It was really like a big clean cafeteria. Service was good and food pretty good too.

Beach was great... 'surf's up' with a lot of seaweed being churned up and waves breaking on the shore. I'm amazed that fully 50% of the palapas remain unused all day long. This is quite a contrast to Palm Beach hotels. Just quiet and peaceful. Lunch and Brights at Passions Beach Bar around 1:30 which was perfect spacing for my morning and afternoon naps.
