The lifeguard combines with the mom in you and forget it! My own kids are old enough that I should be able to relax more on the beach, but I still find myself watching other kids. Not always because their parents or guardians are being neglectful, but just because I'm crazy!

Our favorite buffalo machine at the Marriott is long gone.

my my new favorite are the little Chinese kids and the frog at the Marriott and a similar one at Alhambra.
Safe travels Matt. QUOTE=mattmorr;325160]Thanks for your reports. Keep that Buffalo machine at the Marriott warmed up Andrea...be there tomorrow.[/QUOTE]

    Nov 10 and Nov 11

Nov 10 Friday and Sat 11 Nov

Both days were sunny breezy and hot!
Yesterday was a beach day and the waves were kind of rough at Boca Catalina and Arashi. We stayed for the morning, but it was just too rough.

We came back and spent the afternoon yesterday in and out of the pool and under the covering of shade. We are now on can #5 of sunblock.

We visited Paradera Park apartments, and although absolutely lovely and priced right, the location was too far off the beaten path for our liking.

We also checked out and LOVED Sunset Beach Studios right across from the rusted old wreck just a tad north of the windsurf area. Very nice studio apartments and nice owners and employees. We think this will be our next spot. Bananas served our needs fairly well for the last few visits.

Dinner last night was again at Buccaneer. It was fun and we were entertained by Jim Brogan (sp?) the chef. Paul, Joanne, Adam and I had the Bang Bang shrimp appetizer made into an entree with the famous cabbage and veggies……Amy enjoyed a wonderful piece of barracuda! As I said, the chef was entertaining and spent more time at our table than in the kitchen. Buccaneer has really stepped up many notches since our visits a few years ago. There were only a handful of empty tables.

We visited both the Alhambra and the Marriott Casinos……no comment L

    Thank you veterans!

Our friends Louie and Chris dove from the airplane today.
Paul and I stood at the “base camp” waiting for their safe landing.
Never has it ever crossed my mind to skydive, and I still will never try it.
They had a great jump each and vowed to do it again next November.
Aside from jumping out of the small plane, I would be more terrified of being in a small plane.

The afternoon was spent at Boca Catalina beach and it was pretty crowded.
We did not bring our chairs out as there was no shade available……we stayed in the water for almost 3 hours. There were less waves today.

Lunch was late…….around 4 pm, yes Act1966, the special sauce is still delicious.
Hey, we are Floridians….that 4 pm trip to Mickey Ds I guess was dinner
Dinner………..ya I guess it is time for something………maybe some pancakes.

I think there are no late evening plans……..already in the pjs.

    Nov 12 Sunday

More great weather with lots of sun and breeze. The older I get the more the heat bothers me, so the breeze is welcomed, as are the occasional clouds.

We adjusted our evening to accommodate NE Pats viewing here at Bananas.
Paul is already set with his snacks and beer.

We spent the morning at Boca Catalina Beach and it got very crowded with residents. Then on to the pool here and then to the Marriott for some slot play.
Paul and I each threw $50 into slot machines and played on that $100 for 2+ hours til we lost it. We were bored and also unwilling to throw more money in.

Dinner was at the Local Store with friends. Good wings, burgers and fries……..but EXCELLENT fried funchi with a sriracha sauce. The place is good! (closed Mondays)

That is about if for our adventures and I hope that you are not too bored with my words.

    Tomorrow Baby Beach.

itbwas a great day today in the water, but we weren't prepared for the sun. As Aruba vets I know we should be. Never boring, I always look forward to you and Paul's adventures!
