Dentist was easy and good and inexpensive.
Crown repair can wait til next visit.

The waves were BIG at Eagle Beach today. I have sand everywhere.....leave it at that. We made camp at LaCabana poolside and crossed the road 2x for a dunk in the ocean......waves! awesome! (Never left our table and chaises and shade for more than 40 minutes at a time)
Still a few front row palapas on beach available at 11.

Played BINGO poolside and because the crowds were thin, the prizes were cheap. Top prize for the final game was only $80. :-(

    Dinner tonight at BUCCANEER!
    Delicious.
3 broiled seafood platters (included shrimp, barracuda, caribbean lobster tail ..Joseph’s famous cabbage, steamed veggies, red skinned potatoes, plantain)
and 1 seafood paella which ds loved!
    also an appetizer of escargot.....yum
    and we all had salads.
The food was excellent. Service great and the place was busy!

    Gambling @ Alhambra.
I held fast to my $ while Paul played. I finally sat at a machine, threw in $20, hit a bonus round and WON 8999 pennies. I cashed out and I was done. Paul played a bit more , but the place is just too disgustingly smoky and crowded. Renovations are FAR from complete. FAR FROM COMPLETION.

Unsure why internet is sketchy here. Also 2, 2 hr electricity outages today.
Renovations of Lacabana units will be completed in 8 weeks.
Lobby looks good........, not great imo.
Casino at old Capt’s Table is still a mystery.........will there be one or not?

So that is it for the 12th.

    YUP!
No that we are retired, we have no dental insurance.
So, we have found that dental care is as good here as in the USA and is at least 40-60% less expensive.

    safe and speedy travels.

    Beach and Pool all day.
Of course, which is expected I have a head cold.
spent some time today (monday) laying low in the unit and under the umbrella at the pool.
i definitely fell asleep out there a few times ........very unusual for me to be
    1. in the shade fully
    2. be able to snooze poolside

hit up the Botica for advil cold/sinus and cough drops so i am good to go.

    we ate dinner in tonight.

Oh I feel so bad for you having a head cold. Bless your heart--why does this happen to you!!! I sure hope you feel better soon. Also, I need your tips on how to pack a bag for 2 weeks and it only weighs 28 lbs!! I cut back so much our last trip and still weighed 45lbs for 2 weeks. Although I still didn't wear all I packed, so hopefully this next trip my suitcase will be like yours. When I grow up, I want to be just like you. hahaha (you know I am older than you)
Hope your vacation goes well, and you feel better!!!!!!
