i suitcase was 40 something lbs and the other was 28 lbs....both checked.

we did have our timeshare box with some stuff stored here yr round.

i feel better. started augmenten, which is what i was prescribed a yr or 2 ago when i had the same malady. i think the airco on the plane or the germs set me off. at home in fla, i have sinus and sinus headache issues all allergy related. but this was very different....definitely and infection.

ok "our day" in the next post.

casinos very smoky and my clothes stink. i will do laundry tomorrow.

Although I still didn't wear all I packed, so hopefully this next trip my suitcase will be like yours. When I grow up, I want to be just like you. hahaha (you know I am older than you)
Hope your vacation goes well, and you feel better!!!!!!

    aug 16 Tuesday

Woke up to feeling really quite headachey and congested. SINUS.
LaCabana hooked me up with a physician, he saw me EARLY and voilla, sinus infection. Prescription for Augmenten and the exam was very inexpensive.
    Under $30.

Kevin and Becca went to DePalm Island today for snorkeling and beaching and eating. They said the parrot fish were wonderful. The reef is a mess and it will take eons to come back to being thriving and the parrot fish were as big and blue as ever. The food was mediocre, but the drinks were good and they had a good time.

Paul and I were given the gift of "flight" from a friend.........aka helicopter tour.
I just have to say DO IT!!! No matter if you are scared....DO IT. No matter if it is something you have never been interested in doing........DO IT.
I was afraid and disinterested, until someone said to me "you have to do it".
So we did and we LOVED it.
It was an island tour...............palm beach area, lighthouse, golf course, eagle, druif, downtown, all the way renaissance island, to refinery to depalm island to baby and rodgers beach (saw nothing unusual), to the dog cemetery to the natural pool and the wind turbines, thru arikok over uritaka ctr to the alto vista chapel.
    OMGOSH do it

afternoon in the water bobbing about for a couple of hrs and then sitting in the shade by the pool for quite a while.

    dinner MJs
i think we are done with MJs.
    See review in Culinary.

    Last few days a blur!

Weather has been excellent with scattered clouds and nice breezes.

Our son and daughter in law had to go home to reality and Paul and I were sad to see them go. They had a wonderful time.

Last few days have been excellent with great weather, beautiful breezes and gentle waves at Eagle beach. Today was a little rougher than yesterday.
We hung out poolside last few mornings and then take our towels and noodles and head to the beach in the afternoon for a couple of hrs!

Dinners last few evenings has been dining in.

    Tonight is AMADEUS.
So far we have eaten at COOKS, MJs, BUCCANEER, KING RIBS take out, and tonight is AMADEUS.
Reservation tomorrow for COOKS and then will have to think of "where to " next.
MAybe Cubas Cookin in their new location.

My sinus infection seems to be doing well.
Paul has one more dental visit on Wednesday.

Our group of friends here has grown.
The Iowans just arrived..........5 of them, including 2 children.
so we are now 5 Iowans, 2 Marylanders, 2 Floridians/Ma.........and the 2 Maineiacs have gone home.
    That is all for now.

Where is King Ribs take out? I like to take out one or two days and eat in my room. Sometimes I go to Pizza Bob for take out..

Also where did Cuba's cooking moved to? I always go there every trip and get my free mojitos an order of empanadas and I try a different entry everytime. Their Mojitas are excellent!!!

CUBAS COOKIN has moved to the seaport mall plaza.

King ribs........coming from downtown toward the lo rise......turn right at 1st roundabout (WENDYS is there) follow that road straight about a mile and a half.

King ribs on left , if you hit the big intersection you have gone too far
    SAT and SUN 11a - 6 p

head back downtown as if you are going towards airport.

at the roundabout near talk of the town, take the furthest exit and go straight.
at big bank building and traffic signal turn left.
cooks is straight ahead on the right at the next traffic light.
