There is also a Kay's on Palm Beach, right across from Playa Linda. That's where I got my Aruba Alex & Ani bracelet a couple of weeks ago. Love it!

As far as I know no rain at night at least here in downtown.
On Saturday May 10 we had a quick downpour at around 9 am but dry as a bone otherwise.
I am sitting here now looking out to the southwest towards Venezuela and it looks to be raining out in that direction. I can see the bands of rain falling but here on Ren Island it is partly cloudy with a very strong wind.

Speaking of the wind , the shuttle boat driver told us of a woman being injured somewhere on Palm beach where a bunch of coconuts fell from tree on top of her while she was on a lounge chair. Reminder if one is taking shade under a tree look out for coconuts !!!

    Andrea,
Thanks for your ongoing trip reports!
Are they still working on floors 4 & 5 at the Renaissance? We'll be heading there on July 18th. We have a third floor unit (337), so I suspect we may be re-located. Oh well, we'll be in paradise so no complaints...
Glad to see the wifi is working well around the pool in case hubby needs to do some work. Helpful for all the tablet owners as well.
Enjoy the rest of your time in Aruba!

still working on floors 4 and 5 in the "2" wing.
per the owners meeting on monday or was it tuesday (?), bryan is saying almost 5 weeks behind schedule, supposedly due to furniture delays.
the flat screen tvs are being unloaded as i type.

    Day 13 May 21

It was pretty overcast and very windy this morning.....making the boat ride to Ren Island a bit “rough.”
We spent a few hours there and then headed back to the pool and then out running a few errands.

Dinner tonight was at Cafe’ Plaza. This place is a never a disappointment.
Good food, nice seating, great prices.

    No casino.

Tonight with the gusty winds, i wore a sweater. Imagine, me a living furnace, wearing a sweater.

Til tomorrow which will be our last full day on the island.

Glad to hear about the lack of rain, but cannot imagine you wearing a sweater in Aruba??? Gotta love those Aruba tradewinds.

Andrea I'm impressed that you even had a sweater in Aruba! Sweaters are not on any packing list I have. Enjoy your last full day!
