aa flight delayed by 30 minutes due to staffing/crew.
the ones that were supposed to take the shift were over their time allotment.

AVIS, no issues, got the vehicle at the airport. ingrid the agent could have been a little more pleasant, but i mentioned that i would give her and avis a plug on this site, she loosened up and became tolerable so ingrid...PLUG!

on recommendation of the lady next to me on the plane, she insisted we goto CLEO at Alhambra for their wings. well the wings were awesome. 25 wings for $9 (we had a coupon from the nice plane lady) and we each got a salad too. wings were terrific i WOULD get them again. i ordered a side salad.lettuce, tomato, cukes, peppers and giant beetle for good measure.
well about 1/3 giant beetle. salad went back, nice girl brought another but i said no thanks..............we downed 2 balashis each, threw $20 in a poker machine, paul made it last for an hr and then we called it a night. i sat outside reading and digesting the 2/3 beetle.

internet here at lacabana is sort of slow but it is working and here i are!
ALL my frozens stuff stayed frozen
hotel style roasted turkey breast
2 qts pasta and sausage sauce
butter
and other stuff!
did not have to go to lings at all.

over and out it has been a long day

Great start to your vacation,,,,don't order any more salads....Glad to hear you didn't have a problem with Avis..you did get the price that was quoted?Anyway go and enjoy yourself you know how fast time goes when you are on vacation.Say hello to Kent enjoy your snorkeling you should have a great time.Update if you can......ENJOY....

S o r r y--
Cleo's is off our list. A beetle in a salad would come from either the lettuce not being washed or a dirty kitchen.
I do not like either un-washed lettuce and vegetables or dirty kitchens.

Glad you arrived safely. Go and enjoy yourself and Hubby and the BEACH or POOL !

yuck on the beetle! and like you that would have been the end of my salad! I hope they took that off the bill!

Appears with one small exception, your stay on the island is off to a great start. Enjoy.

Just think, in the late 60's, we'd have been overwhelmed to have a Beatle with our salad.

Cleo's has 2 for 1 meals (selected items) on Sunday night. I'll have to check on the wings - their hotdogs (2 for $6) with fries are great!
