Flight on Air tran non stop from orlando perfect TIL we got to the airport. The usairways plane at gate 4 was having maintenance issues and there was no place for us to deplane. so we sat for an hr and half and waited.

went thru immigration and got our luggage. got our car from hans of TROPIC and off we went.

traffic in O'stad was a nightmare.

checked into our resort and the unit is NICE.

had dinner at Lindas,(tomato soup and tenderloin sate') ran to the grocery store and now we are IN for the night.

weather muggy, with some breeze

LOTS of mosquitos

saw Bill and Stella and will see them again on Monday.

over and out.....i am weary

Nothing more frustrating than sitting on a plane that long when paradise is close enough that you can reach out and touch it.

You do not have to travel all the way to Aruba to experience that. You could have just come to Georgia.

day 2
began incredibly early with the rooster doing his "thing" before even God Himself was awake.

Paul and i spent an hr or so walking the beach near lacabana and the waves were pretty rough. Came back to Caribbean Palm and there was a torrential downpour for an hr.
Spent a few hours in the sun after the skies cleared and then it downpoured again for another hour mid afternoon.

We had dinner IN of roast chicken breast, rice and salad.

To the Alhambra which was HOT and smokey and crowded.
I sat outside and crocheted and paul turned $50 into $55 in an hr. (a good night)
Now here I are and he is watching football.
