Hoping that a big hug from grand kids will be the magic remedy. Good thing you are in Aruba for 2 weeks, can't imagine having just one week and being sick the whole time. Feel better

    Monday Nov 7

for any of you that are interested in my weight watcher quest...
i began in late Sept and was down 14 lbs on Halloween.

then aruba, then i got sick........i hit -18 lbs today.
who goes to aruba and loses weight? Jeesh
i think that i am at about 75% better.
it is the malaise that is most bothersome.

    So today.........Hot, barely a breeze.
We spent the day in the shade at the pool and spent much time in the pool.
We thought about going over to the beach as our friends had a hut for us in the front row.
However, I am a large lady and not young and definitely not speedy.........if i had to make the bathroom dash, I would not make it.
So, we stayed at the pool about 40 steps from our timeshare unit's bathroom

At around 5 pm we had a few spits of rain and some rumble of thunder, but it left as quickly as it came.

Dinner......another fine gourmet meal in. Baked potatoes and baked chicken.

After dinner, we took a ride to the Crystal Casino.
I watched paul play for a little while, he came out ahead on my favorite buffalo machine and we left.

    Tomorrow the kids come in!

I am feeling sad that i did not get to meet up with many folks.
    Again, I apologize.

    Andrea:
Sorry you are still feeling under the weather. It does stink when one is sick while on vacation.
But I hope as soon as the two little boys come through the door they will be the best medicine for grand mom
Get some frozen pops too.. for you and the kids..

75% yesterday, hoping for at least 95% today! Good luck! I'm sure you are so excited to see everyone today!

Hope you're back to 100% soon! Have you talked with any locals regarding the lack of breeze? Aruba without trade winds just doesn't seem right with no major storms in the area.

It is almost normally breezy today. The local folks are also wondering with a nice trade winds went to.
And I had a slice of pizza for lunch woo hoo !
