while there at the alhambra, miss pissy pants was in back in the same seat as last night.

    Sat Nov 12

The sweat pouring from my body this morning could have irrigated a small 3rd world nation.

    The breeze, minimal.
I need some strong gusty winds.
A wind chill would be even better

We spent about 90 minutes today @ Phillip's Animal Garden.
    http://www.philipsanimalgarden.com
It is a wonderful place and I gave it its own thread in Aruba General and Families sections.

We enjoyed all of the animals.......well the snakes not so much and there were a number of snakes.
I fed every animal except the monkeys and snakes.
The goats were rather aggressive. One in particular imo needed to be tonight's stew.
There was a monstrous boa that was rescued and now lives a comfortable and very contained life @ the animal garden.
There was a bunch of cute little bunnies, located next to the boa enclosure.
As we were leaving I mentioned to Paul that i thought that the bunnies would have been in an area where we could have pet and or fed them.
He remarked that they were not a display, but were for the snake.
Tonight when everyone is asleep, I plan on setting the bunnies free.......run for your lives thumper and friends!

The afternoon cooled a bit as the sun hid behind some clouds and we spent a few hours floating!

Dinner tonight was at the Islander Grill at LaCabana.......Adults had the grouper which was delicious and kids had mac and cheese.
bogo on the drinks at the pool bar at lacabana and I enjoyed a couple of miami vices

    Alhambra was UNkind.

Tomorrow...morning at the pool and afternoon at the beach.
Palapa 59 will be my place of rest for the afternoon.

the pharmacy is Botica St Anna.
Palm Beach Rd, almost at the intersection where St Anne's church is.

    Gloomy start, brilliant sunset end.

We awoke to grey skies and scattered raindrops on and off til about 11 am.
    Again, very little breeze.

We spent all day IN the water.
The morning, in the pool at Trop.
The afternoon we floated in the ocean at eagle beach.

If any of you LaCabana folks know Gareff, (the beach chair guy)....his toddler son was accidentally hit and killed by a car yesterday.
The child, ran from his yard to a neighbor's driveway where he was hit
It is so tragic and there are no words
Money was being collected today on the beach to assist with funeral expenses.
If a go fund me is established, I will post.

We had a light supper as we were munching and sipping most of the day, then dessert with Kevin and family....birthday cake for Liam...he will be 1 in a couple of weeks!

We just booked Bananas for next November.
We like quiet, quaint and solitude.
    Bananas provides that.

    Bananas is our favorite.
It is a small apartment resort...maybe 8 small apartments, with a lovely garden courtyard and sparkling beautiful pool.
It is located up neat the Tierra Del Sol country club.
We have stayed there before and are hooked.
It definitely is not a resort that all would like.

Very ideal for those who don't like the huge crowds. (Me).
    Looks like one must have a rental too;
