Just lose my dental coverage. Maybe I should have my cleanings done in Aruba. How far in advance does one have to make an appointment?

    thanks jay
    we are pretty much packed
we will hop in the pool tomorrow morning for an hour or so.
i wish there were a March aruba trip, but we are heading to Maine at Easter and probably some staycations in florida....we hope to get to the keys for a long weekend and a trip to st augustine for a long weekend too.

being retired we should have more leeway to get away, but the pensions, and social security only allow for so much.
we live with a tighter budget and income than when we were both working full time.

take good care of your knee.

Safe travels home Andrea. Sure seems like your 2nd week went a lot faster than your 1st week did, of course when you are sick the time drags. Glad you were able to FINALLY feel better and have some special memories made with your family and grandbabies

A few last full day closing thoughts

62 year old women do not have babies because we are too damn old!
    I am tired.
    I need a long nap.

We had a wonderful time with our grandchildren, but quite honestly.....Aruba at times, was just too much/too overwhelming for an 11 month old and a 2 yr old.
Their parents are exhausted and i am not sure how much "fun" Kevin and Becca had.
The children had a ball. They loved being in the pool and on the beach.
    They loved watching the iguanas.

Kevin and Becca chased, cajoled, cooed, carried and collapsed.
Paul and I did the best we could.....hanging on to the kidlets to give the parents a break.
It was difficult, having a toddler and an 11 month old (is that still an infant?) in strollers and backpack and carseats .....it was exhausting.

Liam, the younger will only stay with his mom. He will not go willingly to Kevin, Paul or me. He screams like we are torturing him.
So sadly, Becca never gets a break from the baby.

Parents...grandparents....be well prepared when you bring the little ones to Aruba.
It is difficult, doable and lots of fun.

Today we had breakfast at Pizza Bob. It was great.
Dinner tonight was pizza from Pizza Bob and it was so much better than the last time we had it.
We asked for it well done and the crust was crisp and nice.

We visited Bananas Apartment Resort to make plans for next year. (minus children)

We loaded up on good cough medicine at the Botica.

We jumped into the ocean a few times.

We played at the Crystal Casino tonight.

I am happy to say we are on the plus side for casino wins , (barely) for this Aruba vacation.
    So that is great news.

    That is all...over and out.
Will give an airport report tomorrow.
