ahhhh we actually went out to dinner!
    WENDY'S
i had a scrumptious baked potato with salt and butter.
paul had a burger with a baked potato and we shared a coke.
    $14.91
    ain't life grand?

we made a stop at the alhambra...he played, i sat and drank water. he says he lost, but he had a smirk so i think that he is hiding money and he will head back to the craps table once I am sound asleep.

    a few observations.....
now remember i am not feeling 100% so i am a bit of a cranky witch and the word witch begins with a B.
some of the drivers on the main road are out of their minds. the speed is 60-80 kmh and many are going 100 kmh and most are the V tags.
(come on visitors please slow down)

men....with beater tee shirts..........in the casinos ...GAG. Do they think that we ladies are impressed ?

we have a rental car from tropic. it is a brand new hyundai. it had 45 km on it when we picked it up on tuesday. i am losing sleep over this vehicle.
i told hans that we want to trade it in for a crap box.....he laughed. i am serious. i do not like being responsible for this brand new vehicle.

i better go to bed before my fat trap gets me into trouble

Glad you're feeling better...... you've always been 'b-witching' to most of us on the forum....!
....and I only mean that in a good way... meant as 'charming'.....

Even when you're sick, still helping us out with ideas. I never would have thought to get the potato from Wendys. Hope we never need it, but still good to know.
Make your way to the beach today and experience those healing powers of sea, sand and sun!

I have neglected to give much of a weather report and political commentary.
The breezes are back, the sun is shining.

Without getting political and getting into any kind of a debate, because this is NOT the place for it....
Numerous "non americans" have all made inquiries to us re: the upcoming election.
There is much interest and many opinions by the folks that have brought it up to us.
The last conversation was last night at the Alhambra as I was sitting outside reading. A nice lady from Montreal asked me if i would be home in time to vote.
I told her that we voted absentee.
Many are quite interested. Many have extensive opinions.

Again, i am not looking to start a discussion on who should win or who should not win. I am making an observation about folks here in aruba that are not americans that have a genuine interest and many questions.
