Wednesday cooked up a full breakfast to start the day. Then just hung out at house pool and snorkeled. At times there are up to 6 snorkeling cruises right in front of house. We have really enjoyed everyone honking and waving as we sit in the infinity pool next to road. It's also been very convenient to just walk across the street to some really great snorkeling. For lunch I made up some left over pork tenderloin Gouda cheese sliders.

Late afternoon we headed downtown to the Renn for happy hour at the Blue Bar. The girls hit up some jewelry stores. For dinner we had reservations at Pinchos. Dinner was fabulous. After dinner stopped at Cuba's Cookin for some music and cocktails and then back to house.

Thursday cooked up full breakfast again. Our group of 9 is usually up before 6 and half the group run or walk every morning. This is a great area for this. We loaded up the jeeps around 10 and headed out for some touring. First stop was turning by Balashi brewery and heading to Spanish Lagoon. This area is just amazing with all the different colors of blue in the water. Then down to Mangel Halto and to Savaneta. We drove back up the hilltop to the water tower for some great views of San Nicolas and Savaneta. You can really get some great pictures here. We could also see the coast of Valenzuela. From there we headed out to Seroe Colorado to check out the Aruba High Winds kite surfers contest. Since we were this far south we had to stop at rum reef bar for more frozen cocktails. On our way back we made the annual stop at Charlies bar then back for more pool time and snorkeling around 3.

For or dinner last night we had Ahi Tuna with wasabi and pickled ginger for appetizers and strip steaks, grilled shrimp, white asparagus, and wild rice.

    Happy July 4th

Friday was the last full day for some of the group so they were up early and headed to town to negotiate jewelry purchases and souvenir's. Two of our group went to Mangel Halto snorkeling and the rest of us hung out at the house to enjoy the beautiful views from the pool deck. For lunch we we got good ole USA KFC fried chicken buckets and all the sides. We spent all day working hard on all the liquor that was left and did pretty well. For dinner I made up more Ahi Tuna, shrimp cocktail, and grilled shrimp.

The fireworks started at 9 and looked like 2 different locations. Spent the rest of the evening on patio till 2:30am. Good last night in the house.

Saturday morning packed up and took the group to the airport and 4 of us checked into the Renaissance for the last 3 nights of our 2 weeks.

We have really enjoyed the Renn Marina for the last 3 nights of our 2 week trip. We have done 6, 7, 10, and now 14 day trips and 14 was just perfect since being at the Renn we had dinner at Casa Tua and was very pleased with the Hawaiian pizza and Greek salad with 2 drinks for $43. Last night we did Hung Paradise and brought it back to room. Huge egg roll, fried rice, Mongolian beef, and a pork dish $48. After spending all day at the pool and happy hour at the Blue Bar we really enjoyed a relaxing evening eating in the room.

We tried Dutch pancake house. It was ok but not close to Linda's. Yesterday we went over to try out the ocean suites pool and swim up pool bar. It is a very nice pool but the pool was very dirty and the jets had nothing coming out of them. We enjoyed watching the planes come in. Met a nice couple from Ohio and they came back to the Renn for happy hour at the Blue Bar with us.

Today more pool time and a little shopping. By the way I used Priceline bidding to book room and got it for $130/night.
