Back from 2nd Trip

We just got back last nite from two weeks in Aruba. It was our 2nd trip, but not our last. We finally got to meet Hans. He is so nice. We screwed up the car because we are technologically challenged, lol, and Hans was so nice about it. We froze the starter computer by hitting the button a bunch of times, lol. He was sweet, came right over, gave us a car that requires no thinking. And this was on a Saturday nite. He is just so nice, I can't say enough nice things about him. Definitely don't get that service from the big guys. Unfortunately I gave his name out to some people and I may be sorry because he may be harder to book, lol. I should have kept him a secret.

We met people who were there last year, same time. So that was fun. We met a few other couples and it was so much fun. Now we have about 3 or 4 couples that come each year, same time.

I don't know what we did except just chill. Went to the beach in the day, went shopping (me, of course), went to the casinos at nite, had drinks. It was glorious. We landed on time, superfast through customs. Going home (ugh, I hate that), we zipped through customs and sat at the bar. we flew first class both ways so that was nice.

all in all, it was a wonderful two weeks. we stayed at the Gold Coast, great complex. Will definitely rent there next year. I guess we are officially hooked...

actually my husband & I took a walk to the radisson and the bell captain told us there was going to be a wedding the next nite. so we went back and I ended up talking to Lisa. we took photos of the wedding and the next day I went and talked to lisa. she is a doll. we got all kinds of info and i'm giving it to my sd tonite. i think that's where but she's just not sure of the date yet. she officially got engaged a few weeks ago. she thought september but now is concerned people may need more time to save. it will be within a year, i'm sure.

we checked the hyatt since we gambled there and the prices were through the roof. when we were there, there was a wedding at the marriott, $200,000 wedding. turns out it was Carolina Herrara's niece from Argentina. there were over 200 people there. even the roulette dealers were talking about it, lol.

but anyway, we are in love with aruba and are already planning our next trip, lol. but i'm sure that doesn't surprise anyone on this forum, lol....

i wish you had been able to see the wedding planner @ manchebo.
the manchebo does a bang up job (just as good as the other places from what i have been told)

so, when is your next trip? ;-)

You will love the Radisson for a wedding. In July my husband and I renewed our wedding vows at the Radisson on the beach. It was just breathtaking. Lisa is one in a million and goes above and beyond in doing the affair. Every time I had to email her to make all of our plans she always answer my questions in hours if not one day. You will not be sorry if you choice the Radisson. Grounds, staff and accomadations are just perfect. If there is any questions don't be afraid to ask.

Andrea, i think she would rather be in the thick of things in the high rise area.
