Baby beach is very conducive to beach napping.

So happy to hear that Hard Rock is back to having bands. Our last visit we didn't catch any there. It's a favorite of ours in the evening for drinks and music!

Torrential downpours overnight that continued into the morning. Instead of going straight to the beach we decided to give the sun a chance to come out and went to breakfast. We chose Salt and Pepper, my favorite breakfast spot. Was going to be a shortish day due to the ARF benefit later today. Turned out to be one of the most gorgeous days I've ever seen at Arashi. The waters were this really intense electric blue that's even more gorgeous than normal.

Woke up from a nap at about 1:30 to a facebook message from one of the organizers that wanted to know if I would read the raffle winners at the event.... sure why not. No one from the forums won It was held at the Tierra Del Sol restaurant which is absolutely gorgeous. I may have to go back there for dinner. Benefit was a lot of fun, saw some old friends and met some new ones.

Dinner was at Quinta Del Carmen which was fantastic as usual. We had Wilmer who is one of our favorite waiters on the island. I'm not usually a fan of long dinners but this one was about 2 hours and didn't bother me one bit. Maggie got antsy at about 1.5 hours so in the future, I think I will skip dessert if we are about to hit that mark. Made it back to the driveway just as the sky opened up again. Fell asleep to the sound of the rain falling outside. If I would have had maybe 1 more hour of beach time I'd say today would have been absolute perfection.

Sounds like you are having a great trip. Sorry to hear that you didn't care for Ricardos. We dined there in Feb. and it was one of our favorites. Hope you have a nice, sunny day today with some strong, cooling tradewinds.

You know Curt, I think I really would have liked to see a video of you dancing outside the Hardrock! God you're having fun!
