Wow!!! First time to Aruba. What a beautiful place. Arrived yesterday got 4 jeeps from more 4 less. Great job of getting all 10 of us with luggage from airport. Went to Ling & sons for beer and grocerys. Got blackberrys delivered to house from Aruba discount cell for the week. We are renting a 5 bedroom house with a swim up pool bar. We also got liquor at the duty free in Aruba airport. So simple. Today pool and beach time with cocktails. Tonight the group goes on party bus and my wife and I go to Passions for dinner. Nice sunny morning.

Day 2 went shopping for sunglasses and I have never seen so many jewelry stores in my life. It was sunny all day. Went jeep riding and snorkeled in front of house at Malmok. Had a late lunch at bugaloes. Had a crab wrap and wife had a grouper wrap. Food and view were fabulous. My wife changed her mind and wanted to go on the party bus with the group we are with. I have read some negative comments about the party bus so I was apprehensive on going. Yes we did pay extra for a sippy cup and it was cheesy at times but our group is in our early 50's and we had a blast. Had dinner at a very nice house and went to 3 bars. The younger kids thought we were crazy and they were right. It's overcast this morning and very windy. I have Fanny from NaFanny spa here giving the ladies massages on the upstairs balcony overlooking the Caribbean. Wow does it get any better than this. Going to Zeerovers for lunch and to get some fish and shrimp for dinner tonight. Hope they are open on Sunday. I am starting to understand why you people have been here so many times and keep coming back

Two more days left. We have had a wonderful time. Some of the restaurants the group has tried are Amazonia, Flying Fishbone, LePetit Cafe, Zeerovers, Bugaloes, and Tango.
Have been snorkeling at Malmok Beach, Arashi Beach, and Baby Beach. We tried to hook up with Stuart at Aruba Bobs but he has been sold out. He did offer to do a 4pm today but we have early dinner plans. Look forward to hook up with him next year. We have cooked two dinners at the house we are renting. Ling & Sons has everything you will need.

The Aruba House is perfect for a group of 10 to 12 people. We have 5 couples and the house is set up perfect. The kitchen and living room are on one side with the dining room and another living room between 4 bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. You really have total privacy just like a hotel. The master suite is upstairs and has a wonderful balcony with the carribean right in front. There are 7 flat screen tv's in the house. The kitchen is equipped to the max. We like to cook so I brought skillets and a wok but we really did not need anything. They even had beach towels and beach chairs. The pool is great with a swim up pool bar at one end. When doing research and looking for a house to rent I could not find many reviews on the house for it being so full on the calendar. I truly think no one wants everyone to know just how nice it really is so it will be available again
