Thanks for taking the time... I'm glad you got back to Aruba.... For a palapa at the Hilton.... there generally seems to be fewer vendors down at the Gilliagan's (north) end.

Happy trip Brad & Deb! I think you are doing great on the keyboard, i would not even attempt without my laptop. Our household knows all about shoulder surgeries, DH 2 rotarcuffs in last 5 years, me a shattered humerous! Not fun, a much deserved vacation for you - the only therapy on your trip will be relaxation and fun Looking forward to more reports from you.

Sounds like a great trip so far. I couldn't agree with you more about Casa Tua... we gave up MJ's years ago.

That's 2 endorsements for Casa Tua. I've never dine there but since this coming trip is about casual dinning I might check it out. Except I've been on a very low carb diet for 3 weeks. Trying to control blood sugar levels. I miss Pizza!!!

We really enjoyed Casa Tua in the Renaissance Mall downtown. In the last year I have become a type 1 diabetic so pizza is now off the grid. We too try to specialize in casual dining. Every trip we try to hit a couple different establishments.

    Day 3....
    Slept in at the Hilton
Went to Bugaloe on three pier outside the Hilton for breakfast. .really good! I had the American $12.. Debbie had the Mediterranean panini $5....service was good. .but typical "island speed". Funny because we saw several people get frustrated.

Checked out at noon at Hilton, we knew the villas at Ocean Club would probably not be ready...so headed over to the lighthouse area to took around. We like looking at the houses and neighborhoods. Nice to see they seem to be close to finishing the Lighthouse rennovations.

Finally decided to just go check and see if the villa was ready....It was!!
Got a great one!!...had requested months ago. .this is our 15th year as owners and this trip is for our 30th Wedding Anniversary! Technically. .not until Aug. .but this is when we could go because Debbie is a teacher.

Got a palupa and then went to Superfoods to get supplies and dinner. Dinner was beef and pork tenderloin kabobs and rice and salad $15..not bad..did them on the new infrared grill...not impressed. .need to play with these some more.

Drinks and relaxing talk on the balcony. ..good to be back home here!!
