i thought you were partial to their "burgerloin" steak ?
A little secret about rob o, I love to cook high end stuff. When we go out, I try to order something I wouldn't make at home. I can do a burgerloin, and my fish is better than most (see "Passions" post), however, there is no way I can match MJs lamb.....I surrender to it!

If only Chef Kasi would PM me the recipe....I promise not to publish, share, or open a restaurant to compete!

    The Perfect Day

We have been blessed with the most amazing weather every day so far.
We’ve got the Surf Club palaypa routine figured out….enjoyed a “free one” Tuesday and have two reserved for a small fee for today and tomorrow. We’ve avoided lines…..like at Disney, it’s learning how to best work the system! Liking the Surf more than expected.
The girls did parasailing, $55 each from Frank in front of Stellaris. It was a fun time and I thought the boat driver was alert and careful.
Went to “”Scott’s Brats” at the Playa Linda beach for lunch. This place is a gem…..I’m giving it a rare “10 out of 10”. The owners, Scott and Leslie, work alone bringing their mid-west hospitality to Aruba; they fit right in with the “One Happy Island” Aruban approach to life. The food, good quality prepared perfectly and quickly. My Brat was moist and tasty, cindyo enjoyed a veggie wrap. The price? Where else could two eat and have a soda for a total of $13 right on the beach? Thank you Scott and Leslie, it was great to meet you (and Terry Joz too….more about that from cindyo later).
We took an early evening sunset walk down the beach from the Surf Club to Blossoms at the Westin. A beautiful walk (except for portions of the Holiday Inn, for what they charge you would think they would do an upgrade).
Blossoms was a real surprise. We ordered from the standard Chinese Menu, but the food was anything but standard…it was very, very good. The free chips and dip, the sushi (OK, that wasn’t Chinese) and the main course (General Tsao’s Chicken, Orange Beef and veggie lo mein) as good as I have ever had. Wait staff smiling and friendly (warm hand towels before and after meal a nice touch). They got an extra “tip” and rate a10 out of 10!

Blossoms has been on my "must eat" list for 3 or 4 years and we have never made it.

Next trip i WILL get there!!! You made it sound good... And I think you also convinced me to try the lamb at MJ's.

Congrats on your Surf Club Unit. I'm jealous! It's hard to go wrong at any of the Marriott properties.

Just curious - how far along is the Ritz- Carlton next to the Stellaris?
