Someone slowed the clock on me. Why doesn't the time move this slow when I'm on the island? Heading out to do some shopping now - kid needs bathing suit, hubby needs some essentials, snacks for the plane rides, etc.
Made my reservation for Madame Janette for our last night on the island - It's been a tradition for years, except that one time we left on a Monday. I don't think my SsIL have ever been there - very excited to have them there for our last night this year, except for the fact that I get SO emotional. I'm not good with goodbyes or see ya laters. Now having to say good bye to Aruba & my sisters at the same time, I may just be a complete wreck!
Anyway....not even on the island yet and I'm already worried about having to leave!
We have nothing else planned yet and I love it! This time of year we don't usually have a problem with getting in anywhere, even with a large crowd, so we don't usually make reservations before we leave. I'm sure we will get to Chalet Suisse a few times. I would really like to hit the food trucks and some restaurants we've never been to - Barney's, Blossom, Arubaville was on the list...but that's not going to happen since they closed. Of course I can't think of the other more local type restaurants I wanted to check out. The Paddock is always a lunch stop each year, we will stop at the Pastechi House next week I can't wait!
All checked in took me a little longer than expected. I forgot that I didn't have our passports when I booked the flights so didn't enter that info & had to do it all this morning before I could check in. Finally getting it all in about 1/2 hour after I wanted to, we are in boarding group B 30-33 for the first leg & group A 43-46 for the 2nd.
