Thanks Andrea. Bully picked us up and got here very early but just chilling. What a small world, a couple of people were talking about where they are from, there are about 5 or 6 of us here from within 5 miles of each other at home, funny!

Did not time it exactly but Bully was 1/2 hr early as we were out in the lobby so jumped into his taxi at noon. Actually Dh says about 1 hr 5 mins. was not bad. I have to give kuddos to AA staff both at home and here, they are very helpful with everyone at the kiosks and moving the lines around. All the lines were quickly until the very last line which was the longest but still not bad at all. Just wish we could some year get direct, won't land in BDL until midnight after 3 hr layover in CLT, but still worth coming to ARUBA. I met a man and his girl here who both had a Xander Bogaerts tee on, on the back his name and number and said Aruba, front said Red sox and happy island, wanted it so bad, they said they bought it downtown in a store that was right next to the store I shopped in yesterday!!!! On my list to make sure I get one next year, hope they save one for me!!!

Wow, that flew by! I'm sure that it seemed MUCH faster to you . Thanks so much for letting us share your vacation. It has been so much fun to open my laptop every morning and go to Aruba vicariously through you and our other forum friends. I think that I've enjoyed my Thanksgiving season more this year because I got to start every day in Aruba!

Yes, home safe and sound, boy did I sleep like a baby last night! First night with no coughing, yea! Got home at 1:25 am, bed at 2:35 am. Unpacking and taking lots of breaks today. Good news is since DH is now retired he can do the laundry while I'm back to work this week, thanks Pooh! Of course did some last minute shopping at Aruba airport, my perfume I always buy there is almost gone so picked up a new bottle. Love to buy large coffee mugs, bought 2 beautiful ones with glitter (love anything sparkly and full of glitter). Our bulkhead seats from aua to clt were more like what I hoped the extra $$$ paid for, plus we had an empty seat so much more comfy. I even talked DH into giving me the window. Bully was nice enough to explain some new walkways downtown which are for the tourists who have been "jogging" in the roads!!! Now they will have a nice long walkway that will sometime go from the low rise hotels to downtown and then some, it is looking very nice all the new construction downtown. I even got to see 2 of the 3 trolleys while I did some last mim shopping downtown Friday. A lot of people mentioned how crowded downtown is with traffic, this is another reason I love Bully and his helpers they know the side roads to take to avoid the delays, we landed and had 3 cruise ships in town but from the time Bully's helper picked us up we were checked into our hotel within 25 mins. Oh well, back to unpacking this short break is over and back to reality. Hope everyone has a great time who will be going soon
