Temp fine. I usually bring a sweater because I am perpetually cold. Didn't need it.

And it's time for them to renovate/re-do the decor... that 80s look/feel is getting a little tired. I agree though: the food is good... not spectacular but passable. I guess that's not a resounding recommendation LOL

Atmosphere was amazing at Windows. Class act, food imop was good, not great.
See other Ritz comments from Lisa's post. I can't figure it out. Do they hide the guests??? Went for a drink, bar empty. Outside bar 2 tables being used. Band playing to 2 tables 7:30 ish. It baffles me! There was people on the loungers on the beach but all chairs weren't full at 11:00 am,

    day #4 monday
Dressed in gym clothes and off we went to Amsterdam Hotel at 8 am for a walk from there to Costa Linda. We explored Amsterdam, took some pics and then Visited LaCabana . We wanted the lay of the land before our Dec visit. Nice to see other resorts and restaurants. Checked out the Area around Alhambra casino and those shops. Saw The Smokehouse place and it looked really nice. To bad we have no more open nites though.
Took a quick cab back and headed to our palapa. On the was down the fire exit stairs we found the behind the scene folks at Surf. We chatted with them. They delivered 2 Aruba glasses to our room with a big thank you note. How cool was that.
Hung out at the beach until 2:30 and got cleaned up to go out on the Black Pearl. Had a great sail. I don't snorkel but we did bring our papasan Swimways floats floated around in the ocean while others swam around. Perfect for me.lots of incredible kite surfers around the boar.
Returned at 6:30, got cleaned up and hit the new Hooters. Had the wings routine and some drinks. Very nice clean location. Only been opened for a month the waitress told usWalked back and rob is now watching the Pats game.
hitting the Renn otomorrow. Stay tuned for more posts.
There is a Marriott Surf a Club FB page that I have posted lots of pictures on. Littlejen if you are reading this I put lots of splash pool pictures there.

Not posting too much myself while in Aruba; thankfully , I have Cindy. I will say Anna Maria's and Matthew's were A+ while Windows was a B; I had veal and it was the best veal I have ever had. The rest was "OK".

Hooters this evening was really good, an A grade, I like the new location very much. Staff was very friendly and food all came at the same time and was nicely done.

The Ritz? A rare Marriott Corp mistake. Just too formal for the Happy Island, doesn't seem to fit in.
