Ugh, I can't imagine flying with food poisoning, I've never had it but my husband has and that is not fun! Glad the rest of your trip went well.

E coli is a type of food poisoning, and the most common. To be completely accurate, I should just call it Food Poisoning, but the doctor based on symptoms that it was probably E. Coli. We are still waiting for the results to confirm. Besides, FOOD POISONING sounds like something that happens when my wife cooks, E.Coli sounds like a breed of dog that will help Timmy out of a well.

The bummer is that there is no real way to figure out where it came from. The time between ingestion and symptom can be up to four days, which is most of the trip.

The moral of the story is to stay hydrated, but I have no idea how on an aircraft. To combat they symptoms, I didn't eat or drink. Since total trip home took over 8 hours, that led to dehydration.

And after re-reading, I did say moral eel. Uh, that was not a mistake, i dropped my wallet and a very moral eel returned it. He was also a Moray Eel.
Just a tip, always travel with a good probiotic as this can help combat the bacteria that cause food poisoning/e-coli.
There are specific probiotics for travel! Try it next time.

3 years ago we ate at Texas de brazilian and as soon as we finished and started to walk away, my wife start spinning and she was sicker than a dog for 3 days. Was in bed the whole time. We figured it was the salad dressing. She always gets ranch and when its hot out, thats not a good choice. My wife has had it about 4 times in her life and it hits her within 1 hour of getting bad food.

I had food poising 2x in my life, both times within about a hour after eatting taco bell. The funny thing is they were about 10 years apart and 1 tacobell was in new jersey and the other was in alabama. So yes, it took 2x, but I will never eat @ tacobell again. I had to run, but it was not for the boarder... LoL. (Old taco bell add..make a run for the boarder), not meant to offend.

I had Montezuma’s revenge in Cancun, and I thought I was going to die!!! The truth behind food poisoning is there is an incubation period for all illness. Most food borne illness outbreaks are what you ate 8-12 hours prior to your sickness, therefore it is unlikely it was something you just ate.
Next Aruba trip to the Marriott Surf Club July 2018.

There are many types of food poisoning. Depending on the type, it can hit as early as 1 hour after eating. See link below.
