Hi Randi,
Good to hear from you. To answer your question about getting to Aruba from Winnipeg in one day, to quote the President of the United States, "Yes we can!". We used to go Air Canada, Winnipeg -Toronto-Aruba. They have Saturday departures. Sometimes we could do it in a day, but often we had to overnight in T.O. This past January, Air Canada's fare to Aruba was just way too high, so we transitted through the US, Northwest Airlines from Winnipeg to Minneapolis, then on to Miami, and American Airlines from Miami to Aruba. The difference in airfare was about $400.00 each. If we can get to either Atlanta or Miami by the mid-afternoon, then we can get to Aruba in one day from here. Many Canadians go to Aruba through the States. There is a family from Ottawa who stay at The Mill as well. They were there last year and again this past January. They go to Syracuse, NY, then on to Charlotte or Atlanta. Whereabouts in Canada do you live? Anyway, take care and have fun. Glenn |
